There are three kinds of transfers in FUEL Baskteball right now: free transfers, direct transfers and player exchanges.
All players that are not under contract are available on the transfers page, by clicking on their name you will see more details of this particular player. His detailed skills level are hidden, but from given description you should be able to figure out if he is suitable for your team.
Each skills is described using same terms, from worst to the best:
You can sign any player from the list and straight away he will be available in your team roster. Select for how many season you want to sign him - the longer contract means he will be paid more each week.
Contracts are terminated always at the end of a season, even if you sign them in the middle of a season. Choosing 1 season means his contract will run out at the end of current season, no matter how many weeks are left in current season.
Every player that is not about to retire at the end of the season can be trasferred between two clubs. The buyer pays the transfer fee, the new player contract is set to 3 seasons and his wages will be 110% of the wages in current club (he gets 10% increase of wages with each tranfer).
The transfer will not take place immediately, but in next transfer window. Transfer windows are set straight after league matches, so even if you agree on transfer 10 minutes after match on Saturday, the player will change clubs after Tuesday round.
Each player can be transferred only once each season. Club cannot make a transfer offer higher than 50% of current budget available.
Players can be transferred between teams without transfer fee by using exchange option - both players will get 10% increase in wages, but other than that their contracts will not change.
FUEL Baskteball simulates basketball competition, in which your team will compete with others in league divisions for the championship title. Each week you will play 3 matches (on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), for each you can choose completely different lineup, according to current form and fitness level of your players. Each player is described using 10 skills and 9 character traits, from each match you will get a full statistics for each player, which will make it easier to make further decisions.
